Scientific vs Utopian Romanticism.

“All social life is essentially practical. All mysteries which lead theory to mysticism find their rational solution in human practice and in the comprehension of this practice.”

Karl Marx, Theses on Feuerbach, Thesis 8

Marx on 2 Wheels

If Karl Marx were to write about love he’d have to write about “the materialist conception of romance” (a.k.a. “Romantical Materialism”). Naturally, Marx would summarize the materialist conception of romance in the preface to “A Contribution to the Critique of Queer Theory“.

Engels, of course, would respectively have to write the “Anti-Disney”.
