So the Brexit referendum is around the corner. The Leave campaign (mainly the UKIP and the right wing of the Conservative party) is concentrating on immigration and warns people how bad it is to have people coming into the UK, using the public services and working for low paying jobs while paying taxes and contributing to your society. We are talking about the same UK, the colonial power that during the past century invaded half the planet, committed multiple genocides, and of course had an open immigration policy for anyone that was willing to adhere to the anglo-saxonic values of capitalism. The same people are arguing that the decision-power in the EU is too centralised and antidemocratic (which it absolutely is) and they are advocating for bringing the decision power back to the hands of Britons….because the House of Commons, the House of Lords, the UK electoral system and their…
