Last year, we saw the absurdity of the Russian authorities arresting anti-war demonstrators holding blank signs. This year, we are seeing the absurdity of the German authorities arresting a Jewish Israeli woman for holding a sign “As a Jew and Israeli: stop the genocide in Gaza”.
